One killed as two helicopters collide while landing near Everest Base Camp

Two helicopters operated by Fishtail Air and Air Dynasty collided while attempting to land at a high-altitude heliport in Nepal’s Solukhumbu district. An Indian tourist was killed and three people, including both pilots, were injured. The accident occurred during peak trekking season, when helicopters ferry hikers and climbers in the region.
