HAECO, Japan Airlines, Toyota Tsusho and Sun Group form Vietnam MRO JV at Van Don International Airport

Hong Kong-based HAECO will partner with Japan Airlines, Toyota Tsusho and Vietnam’s Sun Group to establish a new MRO facility at Van Don International Airport. The project is valued at $360 million and is targeted to be operational by late-2028.

Bankrupt Spirit moves to auction Airbus jets and other assets, bidders emerge

By FlightGlobal: Potential bidders include a Florida firm that envisions launching a new US airline. The bankrupt parent of defunct US carrier Spirit Airlines aims in the coming weeks to close out bidding to sell assets, including several dozen Airbus A320-family jets and slots at New York LaGuardia airport.
