euroAtlantic Airways shifts from ad hoc wet-lease to longer-term ACMI partnerships

Portuguese ACMI/charter operator euroAtlantic Airways is moving away from short-notice wet-lease activity toward longer-duration ACMI partnerships with airline customers, CEO Pauls Calitis said. The change reframes the carrier’s revenue model from opportunistic charters to steadier, contract-led capacity arrangements.

AirAsia ramps up fleet renewal with older A320s phased out

By FlightGlobal: The airline group also confirms it has cancelled its order for 15 Airbus A330-900s. AirAsia Group expects to remove up to 12 of its oldest Airbus A320s from its fleet this year, as part of wider fleet renewal efforts that will also see more A321LRs being delivered in 2027.
