A Vietnam Airlines Boeing 787 bound for Hanoi returned to Munich after reportedly overrunning the runway and striking its tail during takeoff. The aircraft circled for more than two hours to burn fuel before landing safely; Munich Airport operations later returned to normal while investigators examined the cause.
