FAA clears Beta’s Alia 250 eVTOL for market-survey flights with prospective operators

Beta Technologies has received a special airworthiness certificate allowing it to fly prospective operators in its Alia 250 eVTOL for market-survey flights. The fixed-wing Alia CX300 already holds a special airworthiness certificate, extending the company’s ability to demonstrate both aircraft to potential customers.
