Qantas Project Sunrise A350-1000ULR nears first flight as rollout completes in Toulouse

Qantas’ first Airbus A350-1000ULR for Project Sunrise has emerged from Airbus’s final assembly line in Toulouse and completed rollout, with Trent XWB-97 engines installed. Airbus says a multi-week/“matter of weeks” test-flight start is imminent ahead of the aircraft supporting planned nonstop Sydney–London/New York service when the program launches in 2027.
