Lufthansa locks in ITA Airways control: to raise stake to 90% for €325m, formalizing majority ownership option

Lufthansa Group says it is exercising options to acquire an additional 49% in ITA Airways, lifting its participation from 41% to 90%. The transaction is set to be completed in June 2026 for €325 million, cementing Lufthansa’s majority control of the Italian carrier.
