Norwegian to buy Nordic Leisure Travel Group for about $845m to build end-to-end Nordic travel

Norwegian Air Shuttle has agreed to acquire Nordic Leisure Travel Group (NLTG) for 7.94bn Swedish krona (~$843–$845m), creating a Nordic travel platform spanning tour operations, charter aviation, and 26 hotels. The deal adds NLTG’s brands—Ving, Spies, Tjæreborg, Globetrotter and Sunclass Airlines—to Norwegian and Widerøe.

AVi8 Air Capital to launch Viet Nam-based ACMI carrier

By ch-aviation: AVi8 Air Capital has announced plans to launch a branded franchise ACMI airline based at Ho Chi Minh City to provide additional wet-lease capacity in Southeast Asia, using A320-200 and A321-200(P2F) aircraft.
