NTSB finds bird remains and fatigue evidence after Ryanair 737 engine failure and window blowout over Greece

The NTSB’s preliminary investigation found bird remains on components of a Ryanair Boeing 737-800 engine after a fan blade detached during climb from Thessaloniki, damaging the engine inlet and breaking a cabin window. The July event caused depressurization and partially sucked a passenger toward the opening.
