AirAsia X set for record A220 order—Airbus to host “historic” announcement

Airbus is preparing a major A220-focused event after reports that AirAsia X is close to finalising an order for up to 150 A220s, potentially the largest for the programme. The deal is framed as part of AirAsia X’s expansion push, years after it previously declined CSeries bids.
