Canada Snowbirds to retire CT-114 Tutor by 2026; replace with Pilatus PC-21–based CT-157 Siskin II

Canada’s Snowbirds will end Canadair CT-114 Tutor jet demonstrations after the 2026 season and replace the aging turbofan fleet—operating for more than 60 years and facing rising airworthiness costs—with CT-157 Siskin II turboprops based on the Pilatus PC-21.
