United orders 300 GE GEnx engines for new Boeing 787s, becomes largest GEnx operator
United Airlines has ordered 300 GE Aerospace GEnx engines, including spare units, to power its new Boeing 787 Dreamliners, a deal that will make the carrier the world’s largest GEnx operator. The purchase extends United’s partnership with GE and configures more than 200 787s to this engine type.
