British Airways unveils Winter 2026/27 long‑haul expansion — resumes Melbourne & Colombo, ups Haneda and Cape Town frequencies
British Airways will reinstate long‑haul services to Melbourne and Colombo in its Northern Winter 2026/27 schedule and increase frequencies across key routes — including Heathrow–Haneda (10→14 weekly from end‑Mar‑2026) and Heathrow–Cape Town (17→21 weekly from 13‑Dec‑2026). Melbourne will operate daily via Kuala Lumpur on four‑class 787‑9 from 11 January.
