Atlas Air buys 49% of Air Atlanta to expand European ACMI and aircraft-management access via leaseback structure

Atlas Air Worldwide, through Titan Aviation Holdings, is acquiring a 49% strategic stake in Air Atlanta (platforms in Iceland and Malta) and will separately acquire Air Atlanta group-owned aircraft to lease them back for continued operation. The deal is designed to broaden Atlas’ access to European AOCs, widebodies, and ACMI operating flexibility.
