IndiGo to introduce India’s first A321XLR and start Delhi–London (Norse 787) services in early 2026

IndiGo will deploy India’s first Airbus A321XLR on Delhi/Mumbai–Athens services from 23 January 2026, and launch nonstop Delhi–London Heathrow flights from 2 February 2026 operated five times weekly by Norse Atlantic’s wet‑leased Boeing 787‑9s. The moves expand IndiGo’s long‑haul footprint and pair leased widebodies with long‑range narrowbodies to access new European markets.
