Aerospace Group Urges Tariff Moratorium, Warns of Safety and Supply Risks
The Aerospace Industries Association and major OEMs have called on the Commerce Department to extend its Section 232 comment period by 90 days and impose a 180-day moratorium on proposed tariffs for imported commercial aircraft, engines and parts, warning that higher duties could disrupt global supply chains and compromise air safety.
