U.S. DOT unveils first Advanced Air Mobility National Strategy, targets piloted eVTOL operations by 2027 and autonomy by 2035
The U.S. Department of Transportation released its first Advanced Air Mobility National Strategy and action plan, setting a target for initial piloted eVTOL operations in 2027 and aiming for fully autonomous flights by 2035. Major developers including Archer, BETA, Joby and Wisk have publicly backed the plan.
