Azul Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy to Halve Debt While Maintaining Operations
Brazil’s Azul Linhas Aéreas has filed for Chapter 11 in a Delaware court to halve its debt load while keeping its network and payroll intact. The carrier secured backing from major partners including AerCap, American and United Airlines as it embarks on a court-supervised restructuring.
