Airlines boost connectivity to Mauritius and expand India–North America nonstop capacity via new 787 deployments

Ethiopian Airlines will add capacity on Addis Ababa–Mauritius with a new Boeing 787-8 starting July 2026. Air India, meanwhile, launched Easy Connect from Amritsar to 27 international destinations via Delhi, and plans to deploy a Boeing 787-9 on the Delhi–Toronto route from Aug. 1, 2026 to eliminate an enroute fuel stop at Vienna.
