United to add 250+ jets through April 2028, unveils premium 'Coastliner' and widebody Starlink fit

United Airlines will add more than 250 aircraft to its fleet by April 2028, with new deliveries expanding lie-flat premium capacity and introducing three premium-configured types including a transcontinental 'Coastliner' with Polaris suites. The carrier is also retrofitting mainline widebodies with SpaceX Starlink, targeting half complete by end-2026.
