UAE GCAA certifies Skyports’ VDX purpose-built eVTOL vertiport for commercial operations in Dubai

The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and Skyports Infrastructure say VDX—the “world’s first” purpose-built commercial vertiport—has received regulatory certification to support electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft operations. The approval positions VDX as the flagship vertiport for Air Taxi activity in Dubai.
