China Southern cargo taps AerCap for three 777-300ERSF converted freighters as 777 conversion demand grows
AerCap has signed lease agreements with China Southern Airlines Cargo for three Boeing 777-300ERSF converted freighters, with deliveries scheduled from late 2027 to mid-2028 (or from late 2027 to mid-2028, depending on the filing). The deal adds to a broader market shift toward passenger-to-freighter conversions, highlighted by Emirates SkyCargo’s 777-300ER special conversion.
