
ISRO’s GSLV Deploys $1.5 B NASA-ISRO NISAR Earth Radar Satellite
India’s GSLV rocket has successfully placed the joint NASA-ISRO NISAR Synthetic Aperture Radar satellite into orbit, kicking off a first-of-its-kind $1.5 billion Earth observation mission that will scan the planet twice every 12 days and deliver open-access data for climate research and disaster monitoring.
