Orbion ramps production as Hall‑effect thruster demand outpaces industry capacity
Orbion Space Technology, a Hall‑effect electric thruster maker based in La Plata, Maryland, is ramping production after demand from small‑sat operators exceeded available industry capacity. The expansion increases output of low‑thrust electric propulsion used for orbit raising, stationkeeping and constellation sustainment.
