American Airlines relaunches nonstop Miami–Caracas service, adds 2nd daily flight from May 22

American Airlines restored the first nonstop U.S.–Venezuela passenger link in seven years when it departed Miami for Caracas on April 30, 2026. It plans to add a second daily flight starting May 22, expanding connectivity that had been routed through neighboring Latin American countries. American also signaled potential future expansion beyond Caracas.
