NASA releases Artemis II ‘moon joy’ highlights as lunar flyby images and Earth–Moon alignment go public
NASA has published new video highlights from the Artemis II crew’s return journey, including moments described as “moon joy” and the team in high spirits after a record-breaking Moon slingshot. The release follows imagery from the lunar flyby showing Earth and the Moon in the same frame, partially illuminated by the Sun, reigniting public and expert discussion of the mission’s visual legacy.
