GE and Lockheed validate liquid‑fueled rotating‑detonation ramjet for hypersonic missiles
GE Aerospace and Lockheed Martin completed a series of tests demonstrating a compact, liquid‑fueled rotating‑detonation ramjet designed to improve efficiency and sustain propulsion at Mach 5+ for hypersonic missile applications. The campaign is the first deliverable under their new joint technology development arrangement.
