Vertical Aerospace logs world’s first two-way piloted transition flight of full-scale VX4 under civil aviation oversight
Vertical Aerospace has executed a full two-way piloted transition flight with its VX4 eVTOL prototype—moving through vertical operation and returning via a transition back toward vertical flight. Conducted 14 April at Kemble airfield, the flight was performed by chief test pilot Simon Davies and marked a first for a non-US developer under civil regulatory oversight.
