Exploration Company’s Mission Possible achieves partial reentry success but loses capsule
Europe’s Exploration Company launched its Mission Possible reentry capsule into orbit aboard SpaceX, tested its deorbit and atmospheric entry procedures, but lost the spacecraft before splashdown. The test was deemed a “partial success,” reflecting both the promise and the hazards of pioneering reusable space systems.
