LATAM posts $576m Q1 profit but cuts 2026 guidance as oil shock lifts fuel costs

LATAM Airlines Group reported first-quarter 2026 net profit of $576 million, helped by a 10.4% increase in capacity and ending the period with about $4.1 billion in liquidity.
