Southwest tests pricing power: Bob Jordan says demand hasn’t fallen after seven fare increases as jet-fuel costs stay in focus
Southwest CEO Bob Jordan says the airline has seen no passenger-demand decline despite raising fares seven times since February, with additional increases still possible. The carrier is also probing longer-haul international options within five years and says it can offset higher fuel costs through stronger revenues, amid uncertainty around the Middle East.
