India to modernise fractional aircraft ownership rules
India will create a dedicated regulatory designation for fractional aircraft operators, introducing clearer ownership criteria, streamlined tax treatment and stronger oversight of operations and compliance. The move aims to formalise fractional-ownership programmes and tighten enforcement of chartering and co-ownership activity across the business-aviation sector.
