Turkish Airlines boosts fleet and training capacity with seven leased A321-200NX and new HAVELSAN simulators; expands sustainabi

Turkish Airlines announced plans to lease seven additional A321-200NX aircraft and to expand pilot training capacity with 12 new flight simulators from HAVELSAN, aimed at scaling training ahead of new simulator facilities opening in 2027. The carrier also signed up to SAFFA Fund and participated in broader endangered-species and anti–illegal wildlife trafficking commitments via the relevant agreements cited in the cluster.
