
Delta Can Sue CrowdStrike Over July 2024 IT Outage That Canceled 7,000 Flights
A Georgia state court has permitted Delta Air Lines to move forward with a lawsuit against cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike, alleging gross negligence in last July’s systems outage that reportedly disrupted Microsoft operating environments and forced the cancellation of over 7,000 flights, costing the carrier roughly $500 million.
