JetBlue A320 halts climb after near‑miss with USAF tanker flying with transponder off off Curaçao
JetBlue Flight 1112 (N809JB), departing Curaçao for New York on 12 December, stopped its climb after crew reported a U.S. Air Force refueller crossing directly ahead at roughly the same altitude. Pilots estimated the tanker was 2–5 miles ahead; controllers could not detect it because its transponder was off.
