Iberia’s New A321XLR Diverts After Bird Strike, Cabin Crew Treated for Smoke Inhalation

An Iberia Airbus A321XLR delivered just over a month ago was forced to return to Madrid after striking a large bird during climb out of Barajas Airport, leaving a flight attendant hospitalized for smoke inhalation and several passengers treated for anxiety before a replacement service to Paris was arranged.
