Finnair has suspended operations of eight Airbus A321s and cancelled roughly 40 flights after discovering passenger seats washed with water — not approved cleaning agents — lost their fire‑resistance certification. The temporary grounding could affect about 20 flights per day while inspections and recertification are completed.
