Delta Connection Jet Diverts to Cedar Rapids After Passenger Tries to Open Exit Mid-Flight
A Delta Connection regional jet operating flight DL3612 from Omaha to Detroit made an emergency landing in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on July 18 after a 23-year-old passenger allegedly fought with a flight attendant and attempted to open an emergency exit mid-air. The individual was arrested and the flight resumed to Detroit.
