IATA: Aerospace supply‑chain crisis to cost airlines over $11 billion in 2025

IATA and Oliver Wyman say persistent aerospace supply‑chain disruptions will saddle airlines with more than $11 billion in excess costs in 2025, driven by production delays, part shortages and certification gaps — risks that will deepen delivery backlogs and raise operating costs across the $250 billion sector.
