United to Cut ~5% Capacity as Jet‑Fuel Spike from Iran Conflict Hits Costs
United will cut about 5% of planned capacity in the short term—roughly three percentage points concentrated in off‑peak periods during Q2–Q3—after jet fuel surged following recent U.S.–Iran tensions.
