Air India to defer aircraft deliveries, cut flights and expansion plans as Tata targets record-loss turnaround
Air India is seeking to defer deliveries, reduce capacity and postpone expansion after Tata Group instructed the carrier to prioritize reducing record losses, according to people familiar with the matter. A separate internal plan also considered ending complimentary economy meals as the cost-cutting drive intensifies.
