Boeing delays commercial profit recovery to 2027, cites Spirit reintegration and 737 MAX wiring defects
Boeing said first-quarter deliveries will be lower than forecast but should recover later in 2026. The company’s commercial-airplanes unit now expects profitability in 2027, not 2026, after higher-than-expected costs from reintegrating Spirit AeroSystems and remediating 737 MAX wiring defects.
