FAA to review supply chain as wing and anti-ice issues push 737 MAX 7/10 certification into 2026
The FAA has not received Boeing’s request to lift its 38-aircraft-per-month cap on 737 MAX output and will conduct a comprehensive supply-chain review before approving any rate increase. Persistent wing production bottlenecks and engine anti-ice system problems have delayed certification of the 737 MAX 7 and MAX 10 until 2026, pushing initial deliveries into 2026-27.
