Hi Fly conducts first Airbus A330 landing at Antarctica's Wolf's Fang blue-ice runway
Portuguese wet-lease operator Hi Fly landed an Airbus A330-302 (9H‑HFI) on Wolf’s Fang blue-ice runway in Antarctica on Dec. 1 at 23:59 local time — the first A330 touchdown on the continent. The Cape Town–Wolf’s Fang flight was operated for White Desert Antarctica, extending Hi Fly’s five-year polar programme.
