Asia-Pacific airlines saw March passenger traffic rise 11.3% versus a 1.9% capacity increase, according to AAPA. The association cautioned that the conflict’s duration will prolong demand and economic uncertainty, while airspace closures are cutting Middle East–Europe cargo activity by ~30–50% and forcing less efficient routings. Earnings season is expected to test whether traffic momentum can offset higher fuel costs.
