A chartered Learjet 45 carrying Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar crashed while attempting an emergency landing at Baramati airport on Wednesday morning, killing Pawar and five others. The DGCA confirmed there were no survivors and the aircraft erupted in flames during the incident.
