Asiana Airlines will leave Star Alliance on Dec. 16, ending more than 23 years in the network. The alliance says it will maintain seamless global connections in Seoul through 14 member airlines, while Lufthansa reworks its South Korea strategy ahead of Asiana’s exit. Star Alliance also set deadlines for mileage accrual and redemption on Asiana flights ahead of disassociation.
