United hits near-600 military pilot transitions via 2024 hiring program milestone; adds 250th ‘Stars and Stripes’ livery aircraf

United says nearly 600 military pilots have transitioned into roles at the carrier since 2024, with another 500 expected by the end of 2027. The milestone was unveiled alongside a new 250th anniversary ‘Stars and Stripes’ paint scheme on a Boeing 737-800 and a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, including an event at Washington Dulles International Airport.
