United marks 250th anniversary with “Stars and Stripes” Boeing livery and hits hiring milestone for military pilots
United Airlines unveiled a “Stars and Stripes” 250th-anniversary livery on a Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, unveiled at Washington Dulles with U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy. The carrier also reported that nearly 600 military pilots have transitioned to United since 2024, with 500 more expected by end-2027.
