Ariane 6 places two Galileo satellites into orbit, boosting Europe’s navigation resilience
On 17 December 2025 Arianespace’s Ariane 6 launched from Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana, placing two Galileo satellites (Sat 33 and Sat 34) into orbit. The mission — the 14th Galileo launch — strengthens Europe’s satellite navigation resilience and autonomy.
