ESA approves record €22.1bn at Bremen ministerial; agency authorised to expand into defence
At the Bremen CM25 ministerial, member states committed a record €22.1bn for the next three years, near ESA’s funding target. The package backs major civil programmes and formally authorises an expanded agency role in defence while leaving some national requests, including the UK’s, underfunded.
