Qanot Sharq becomes Central Asia launch operator with first Airbus A321XLR delivery

Privately owned Uzbek carrier Qanot Sharq received its first Airbus A321XLR on 19 December, becoming the launch operator for the type in Central Asia. The jet was delivered on a long-term lease from Air Lease as part of the airline's A321neo fleet expansion to open new routes.
