Indonesia will allow airlines to raise ticket prices by increasing the fuel surcharge and waiving some airline taxes, permitting fare rises of up to 13%. AirAsia X has implemented 31–40% fare hikes, added a fuel surcharge and cut roughly 10% of capacity as the Iran conflict pushes jet‑fuel costs higher.
