FAA extends New York JFK/LGA/EWR “high-density” slot rules through 2027, allowing airlines to retain slots without operating fli

The FAA will extend its New York “use it or lose it” High Density Rules through 2027, letting incumbent carriers keep peak-hour landing/takeoff slots at JFK, LaGuardia and Newark even if they do not operate the associated flights. As a result, JFK will not receive additional peak-hour flights under the extension.
