PNG consumer watchdog seeks authority to regulate Air Niugini and PNG Air fares
Roy Daggy, commissioner of Papua New Guinea's Independent Consumer and Competition Commission, has urged the government to authorise the regulator to implement direct price regulation for national carriers Air Niugini and PNG Air. The proposal would grant the ICCC statutory powers to set or cap fares.
